K so i put the Status Bar.png in the main folder of the theme, but when i re-spring the device, it becomes transparent, but the top part of the phone has a white line all across it...notice in the screen shot on the top where its cut....that part is the part with the white line....anyway to fix this?

hmmm... no idea.. here try this one
edit: if that one doesn't work, i'm thinking that your wallpaper is not big enough.. just a fix pixels short of the top maybe
check to see if your wallpaper is 320x480 (480 tall)Last edited by muffpirate; 08-26-2009 at 03:15 PM.

well if your wallpaper is 480 tall.. and the status bar is 320x20 tall and transparent, it shouldn't do this..
i gave you two separate status bars.. for them both to do the same thing and two different wallpapers is funny
maybe, just for sake, take the status bar and open it with whatever program you have, flip it 180 deg. then if there is a white strip in the status bar, it will show on the bottom when you have reinstalled it and resprung.. maybe
lemme no

lol... does it not give u the ability to download the attachment?
if not.. make sure that you click the attachment to open it to its full size, then copy it to your disk. it should be the full size of 320x20 if you do it that way
if that doesn't work, i'll figure out another way to get it to u

take the same status bar, make a copy of it, rename the copy to Default_BG.png, and SSH it into
your theme> bundles> com.apple.springboard
so, you should have StatusBar.png in the main part of the themes folder and you should also have Default_BG.png in your com.apple.springboard folder
try that

welcome bro.
there are also a few other _BG's in that folder as well. FSO, FST, Default.. even Error (the red one when you input the wrong code)
so, if you change em all to the one you want, it should work like you want.. lol
