I finally tried it on my iPhone!
It doesnt show a HUGE increase BUT it definetly makes it run smoother.
I deleted some of those daemons (mixed, safe and unsafe) and ran the language script.

Looks like I'll be bookmarking this post for future use.

I did it on my new iPhone 3G 16GB.
Worked without any problems.

Ugh...I deleted something I shouldnt have. Doing a complete restore now FML!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess my whole day is gone since I'll be deleting lps all day. Peteos damn script wont work for me on cyberduck... this is the day from hell. Still need to pick up Snow from apple as well

the damn thing wont let me cd langBackups to the applications folder is the problem I think. Shouldnt the script still run tho?

It's WRONG, INCORRECT, NON-FUNCTIONAL!!!

Use this here:
Backup (English and German)

for file in `find . -type d -name "*.lproj" -not -iname "en*.lproj" -not -iname "ge*.lproj" -not -iname "de*.lproj" -exec echo {} ; | sed -e 's/.///'`; do tar -rf /private/var/stash/langBackup/langBackup.tar ./ ; done

Delete(Leave English and German)

Adjust as needed.
There was one thing which was wrong with this script so I wasted like an hour or so finding out why it was not working for me. So I found the original post made by the original creator of this script and it worked.

Btw, I didnt keep a backup. I just went straight on deleting the damn files. No Problems since one or two days (lol forgot already when I did this xD).
