    If you're happy with the performance, don't bother.

    Removing the launch daemons and language packs primarily helped the 3G because it had sooooo little memory and a slower cpu. On a 3G this helped a lot. On my 3GS, I noticed a little improvement. With an iPhone 4, it would be less noticeable.

    @takui
    Everything can still be used up to now. It's most useful for your phone since the 3G has such a slow processor. You can email me for the link to the Lang pack remover and I think the insanely repo has the auto-Daemon removal tool. The only thing not current is the DisableDaemons tool which has been removed for some reason.

    BTW: There are good tools (and instructions) on MMI. All it takes is a bit of reading and understanding.

    Not sure what that controls but I highly doubt removing one Daemon is going to speed up ur device the way you want. What have u done so far to increase the RAM?

    If i turn winterboard off i get a max 177mb free on 3gs.

    No vm think they slow it down ive used the langpack remover and the deamon tools on insanelyi repo and disabled a couple of the condtional ones,installed no spot so spotlight doesnt work so i have a single screen springboard like this with my apps and games in there folders heres some screen shots tho the icons look better than the pic it looks abit blury.

    Yes everything works fine i have album artwork, i kept the accessories daemon so i can still use my dock and everything works fine, whats the advertage speed for a stock 3gs,well one whith just sb settings? mine never realy goes below 155 i always have the phone app and sms app multitasked, if you use ztoggle and turn off the multitasking you could get more free ram.
