i made a script to do this automatically.
it moves the unused daemons to a folder created in /private/var/mobile called backup_ld.
if you ever feel the need to uninstall, it will move the files back to their original location and delete the folder it created.
if anyone wants it i have it hosted on my cydia repo, pm for the address. or i could upload the .deb and post a link.

This isn't Daemon related but I found another way to increase RAM. I'm not a fan of Spotlight so if you're like me, you can disable it with 'NoSpot.' It looks like I got 10MB of RAM on my ip4 (345MB to 356MB)! I'm gonna post this on the other 'speed' forums as well....

What file permissions are you referring to? Usually it is 755 for permissions unless you're talking about something else.
I just did the Overvlocking thing a few hours ago on my ip4 and i didn't have to change permissions... I only had to find out my MHZ and input those into the string. BTW, the overvlocking works awesome for my ip4!!! I tried it on a coworkers 3G 4.0.2 and it improved hers a little but her phone is really buggy and um thinking it's firmware related cuz I've done all the speed tricks and it still has laggy response time.

If u open up the file in ifile and open it as text u will see it says 755. And why r people doing these things on the iphone 4?? Is it not fast enough? Does it eventually lag?

The ip4 is fast enough BUT we do it just to do it! It's fun to see what is possible, even if we don't need it!

I tried deleting all of the safe daemons, then noticed that my notifications stopped working for all my apps (facebook, etc.) Replaced with my my backup copy and all is well again.
Which one would be affecting this? I was really enjoying the extra ram!

Ur FB notifications work?! Lol. Mine dont.. Maybe try trial and error to figure out which one?

Can someone PM me com.apple.aggregated.plist ?
For some reason I do not have it, and I cannot get my Square Reader to work because of it I think. Grrrr.
EDIT: As a note, I never deleted it and just upgraded to 4.1 on my 3G.

Agreed, I don't think there is anything u can do to speed up boot time. The 3G always took forever to boo,t no matter how many tweaks I did to it. I think it is what it is...

Could someone post the launch daemons for 4.1? I think I may have deleted a daemon that allows me to save pictures to my camera roll cause when I hit save image nothing appears in photos..
