Haven't run supercharged myself but from you report, it appears that it's just another app that enables virtual memory on your iphone. There have been a number of these released most are free and a couple of these charge but they all basically do the same thing. In the long run they will all decrease the life span of your device by using the flash memory as RAM - it's unclear how quickly this will happen however.

noob question. does DisableDaemons delete or disable the daemons im kind of scared to delete because i dont want to ruin my iphone. sorry for the noobness

Just disables...you can turn it on or off.
Deleting the Daemons really isn't a big deal either. You can copy the entire file and leave it in the same folder as the original. Just rename it (i.e. LaunchDaemons2).
The ONLY reason I use DisableDaemons is simply because it's faster to setup!

yeah like mr_motta said..does iphone 3g ios4 would make this faster?

Honestly...I don't know yet. I only tried this on my 3GS w/ 4.0. I kept my 3G on 3.1.2 since it is my wifes phone BUT I can let you know in a few days since I have moved all my wifes apps and JB tweaks to the 3GS , just not her SIM card. Once I get the 3G, I'll play with it before I put it on eBay!
FYI, Supercharged is messing up on both 3G & 3GS w/ 3.1.2. I've removed it since it was so buggy.
As for 4.0, have u all disabled the Spotlight searching under Settings-General-Spotlight Search? I heard that speeds up the 3G a whole bunch...

don't use supercharged. all it is, is VM. something that's not good for flash memory. It just gives you 60MB more of a slower RAM, just like a computer. The difference is that it's fine for computers because it is necessary to run the system without need 8GB RAM, and it doesn't hurt them.

I heard all the negative stuff about the VMs but I figured it was worth a try! As u said, it's the same if not better WITHOUT Supercharged!

any news/updates on safe daemons to disable/delete on iphone 4?
08-09-2010, 07:17 PM #370
I went from a laggy, buggy OS 4.0 which hesitated 5-10 seconds after every function with maybe 20mb of memory free at all times...to a 3.1.3 OS with ~60mb of memory free at all times, and none of the crap.
also, all of the apps work again. I kind of miss the folders of OS 4.0. So I installed Categories which is close enough.
I think Apple deliberately made the OS 4.0 just at the extreme edge of what a 3G is capable of handling. Everyone I know who runs 4.0 on a 3G is experiencing the same issue with performance. Hacked and Non-Hacked.iPhone 4G 32 GB (2 of them)
JB Utility: redsn0w 0.9.10b1

best solution is to downgrade to 3.1.3.. LOL..

Thanks! Trying it on iP4.
I deleted everything except the "com.apple.ReportCrash.(Different Things).plist" because there are 6 of them in my folder instead of the 5 you listed.
Also, my folder didn't have the following daemons:
Think it's safe to delete all 6 of the report crash daemons?
