Disapearing Status Bar

Whenever I activate an installed Cydia theme in Winterboard, my status bar will disapear in the home screen, but it is present whenever I open up an app.
It's not just one theme that is doing this, but every one I download does the same thing.
What is wrong with my device (U&J 2G on 3.0) and how can I fix it?

Do you have your status bar set to BlackOpaque or have blackstatus bar active in winterboard?

There are a couple threads on this already... a quick search would reveal the answer.

StealthBravo is correct... Just to expand on his post, there are two lines in the info.plist located in your theme's folder that have to do with the status bar. Delete both of them then reactivate the theme and it should work. Also deactivate solid status bar in winterboard.

^ OK I will be indeed impressed if that works, although more info on what he had installed would be cool. Anxiously waiting to see if it works. Not trying to be Nancy negative.

side bet?

if what the OP is saying is true, this problem is happening with every theme he tries to use so just for that reason I would say if can not be the .plist file in that theme he is using now. Not activated in winterboard? sounds weird. if was only one theme doing this that that would be one of the first things I would look at.
So if I'm wrong what's the bet buddy?

Alot of themes people are using are from 2.x days. Alot of those old plists cause this problem.
