sorry but i would argue that this would be happening with every theme he does use, at least every theme the info.plist is not edited for 3.0. I fixed some of my friends phones with the same issue and each theme i came across had the same lines in the .plist

Edit: haha, exactly what StealthBravo was getting at. Almost beat him to his post but i guess i wrote a lot more.

as stated I will truly be impressed if this cures it, wish I had more info to try to duplicate the problem. has me very curious.
you and I both know that you stealthy have so much more knowledge than me. crap, you've helped me out of a ton of problems.
but I also tear the crap out of themes and .plist files, widgets and have used a bunch of old theme too so I really just got to know the answer.

it's just a problem that I have never ran into. so with that being said, what's the bet buddy?

wow, a lot more posts in this thread than i expected. the problem is because i was activating 2.x themes on 3.0
since this is the problem, do i just edit the .plist files to use older themes?

"there are two lines in the info.plist located in your theme's folder that have to do with the status bar. Delete both of them then reactivate the theme and it should work. Also deactivate solid status bar in winterboard"

I suk, guess you win sorta, we'll have to wait for him to report back. Huh shouldn't have drank all that Goose last night. What I have read before is that it was the Solid Status Bar in Winterboard or a theme statusbar.png file in a theme. I guess that to cure the .png problem you could edit the .plist

Oh well live and learn. Moral of the story, don't bet against Stealthy ((especially when your buzzed)) he is a plethora of iPhone knowledge and the Wizard of Apple devices.
