Winterboard issues, icons don't change.
Hey, I have a 3GS iPhone and I'm using the winterboard from cydia and when I use most of my themes, some icons don't change. I already tried installing and uninstalling and searched in google for simular issues but I couldn't find anything. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Are you certain that there are icons for all the apps? Some themes do not have every app.

What apps? Are you both running 3.0?

I'm on 3.0 he's still on 2.2.1. The things that don't change on mine are text messages and camera and a few things from the app store which I don't care about. It's the sms and camera thing that bugs me.

Text in 3.0 is now called "Messages" so you will have to SSH into your theme and change the icon name. Camera is the same but you should look at it when your in the file system.

Ok cool can you give me any tutorial on how to do that? Cause I'm not that good at the modding stuff. I know how to ssh into it but what exactly should I change?

look in the icons folder of the theme that you are using and rename the icon that are needed. you will find them in private/var/stash/themes*&#*/your theme/icons
