hey guys, was hoping for a little help...
i have a jb iphone 3g on 3.0
i've had "no docked icon lables" and "no undocked icon labels" installed and running in wb for a while now. not sure what i did, but they no longer work. i've tried un/reinstall, reboot, check/uncheck, move to the top of winterboard list... nothing seems to work.
i really hate those labels, anybody know how i can fix??

did u install setwallpaper to your phone? the same thing happened to me. after installing it the labels returned. someone else suggest reinstalling it and not restarting the springboard after installing it. the problem i had was that cydia forces me to restart the springboard.

heres how to install it without losing the icon labels...
put setwallpaper.deb intot/var/root/media/cydia/autoinstall/place it here via iPhone browser or ssh or ifile And reboot 1 time so can be installed then set wallpaper but remember 1 reboot 1 respring and and you got to uninstall setwallpaper and do the same again
setwallpaper download here>>> SetWallpaper_2.1.0.deb

hey guys thanks! - setwallpaper is the culprit...
nightrage, so after any reboot or respring, i'm gonna have to go thru that whole process again?

thats right. after any respring or reboot you'll need to go through the process again. at least its a fix until there is a more permanent fix.

you dont need setwallpaper anymore. Winterboard was updated to do sms backgrounds. Just get your hands on a new sms theme install it and presto you got it.

I'm having this problem, but I've never had SetWallpaper installed.
I installed the iBOX Carbon them, and now my Docked Icon labels wont go away. Tried un/reinstalling winterboard & all themes - but the Docked Icons still have labels no matter what I do.
EDIT: Okay, I found where the "No Docked Icon Labels" should be above the theme in Winterboard.
This has never been an issue for me before, out of numourous themes and other Winterboard addons... weird.

Guys, I'm having this issue as well, I restored my phone 3 days ago, rejailbroke with Blackrain v3...fixed the problem, today, they are not working again...has anyone figured out a fix for this, I've tried moving both no docked and no undocked options to the top of winterboard but nothing....right after jailbreak, they were both near the bottom and worked, so I don't think moving them up to the top is the issue....anyway, if anybody knows a fix for this I would greatly appreciate it.
