hey there, i have my new 3g that i bought from a friend a few days ago after falling in the lake with my first gen. anyway, i had a few paid apps like bitesms, and haptic pro on there that luckily i backed up onto my computer before ruining it. is there a way i can get these apps back onto my new phone without having to pay for them again? im broke after just buying a 16 gb 3g.

The apps are registered to your iTunes Account, so you can download them for free again.

^LOL. Jailbroken apps backed onto iTunes accounts
Anyways, it should be connected to your iPhone through the Cydia Store.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

oh sorry. Download iPhoneBrowser, go to applications, put the .app folder there and set the rights to 777.
