I just recently lost all my photos during a data transfer from my 3g to 3gs and those photos only exist on my iphone 3g. The backup only contains what is in the camera roll but not in other folders that exist in the iphone 3g.

So the last couple of days I been trying to read up for a solution on how to do this and so I jailbreak my iphone 3g with v3.0.1, installed openssh, installed winscp on my pc with XP.

Using wwinscp, logged into the iphone just fine, I was also able to ping my iphone from the terminal windows and got some replies. However, when I tried to ping my PC from iphone terminal "ssh Tony@192.169.1.100 after a minute or so it timed out.

Any tips on how to resolve this issue? I can't go on to create a disk image without getting through this step.
