iPhone 3GS compass app
i have the iPHone 3GS filesystem with apps and all. i found the compass app and was wondering if theres any way i can get it to open up on my 3G. i know it wont actually work but i just wamt to use it to trick my friends

For that you can use CompassF in Cydia. It shows the compass app.

yeah i had that but it says "a fake app" if you click the info button. so is there any way to change that?

No, the 3G opens the compass only if a compass is available.

The Compass will NEVER work on the 3G + 2G because we dont have a Magnetometer..

He mean the Fake Compass from Cydia "CompassF" and he will change the "A fake App" in the Info of CompassF he wont run the 3GS Compass on 3G

i wish the devs of campassf made the compass turn with the accelerometer. now that would make it more like the 3gs's compass

if you want the real Compass.
Get the original 3GS Compass and change the CPU type to arm6.

I did that, and now instead of saying 'Bad CPU-Type in executable' it says 'Killed'. Can you help me out?

To get it working we need a MagnetoMeter!
Just get a 3GS if you want a compass..
il have a 3GS myself and the compass is really boring..
