So annoying that I spent the day jailbreaking my 3G today to figure this out, I want my phone to, whenever I type in "fir", to autocorrect it to "for." I am 100% sure I will never need to text, update, or email anything about firs or other deciduous tree varieties.

I tried iphoneshop's java script - which worked back in '07 and '08, apparently - but it doesn't work on the most recent firmware version of the "unigrams" files. They're also encrypted so I can't find "fir" and delete it permanently.

Anyone have any idea?
