picture messaging

is there an app tht you can install from Cydia that will allow you to send/recieve picture messages? if so whch one is it for the iphone 3g 3.0 ?

If you're on AT&T, not possible.
If you are on any carrier besides AT&T, go to Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network
and google for your carrier's MMS settings and put them in

I have MMS working on my 3GS and my wifes 3G. Theres a long thread on how to do it.

Its been working for months now with no problem.

i have AT&T on a 2G and i can receive them swirlyMMS, but i can't send them.

I didnt add anything to the cellular settings.

You need to use the version of itunes that ends in .10. The updated one will not allow you to edit the carrier file.

But if you have AT&T on an official iPhone plan you still need to get them to activate it for you.

Actually, you dont.

On my line ATT switched me to a regular messaging plan instead of an iphone messaging plan.

On my wifes line, I did the sim swap to another phone and changed it to the regular messaging plan just like ATT did.

No change in price, but MMS works now.
