Rotation Inhibitor help

I've just jailbroken an iphone 2g and have installed the cool Rotation Inhibitor app from Cydia.
Thing is, it's version 0.5 that does not allow landscape orientation.

A friend has Rotation Inhibitor 0.3 on her 2g and it works great with landscape orientation.

Question is, how can I get .3 off her iphone and on to this freshly jailbroken one?



Is there a way to get Cydia apps off an iphone and save them to a pc (so they can be installed on another iphone later) ?

i think you should be able to ssh into her Applications folder and just copy it out and put it on yours.

Any idea exactly where this file would be and how to identify it (there are sooooo many application folders) ?

yeah. It's actually not in applications, sorry.

It's under /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries
and you'll wanna copy the RotationInhibitor.dylib and RotationInhibitor.plist and just stick them in the same folder on yours

i hate to bring up a dead thread... i just had to restore... and i forgot to back up rotation inhibitor 0.3. i tried to redown load it but ispazio took the package down. anyone of you guys care to share??
