I search in SetWallpaper for set a wallpaper with themes without setwallpaper
I don't find the solution, but you can change the wallpaper of SMS in /Var/mobile/Library, the name of file is "SMSBackground.png", just Saurik combines "wallpaper.dylib" and "winterboard.dylib" and it's good ! But i continue my research for change SMS Background with winterboard

I think bitesms uses the SMS apps background that's why it's hard to change but irealsms have put a transparent top layer whitch u can change to your wallpaper
yeah i think bite sms does too like everyting is the same and it uses my message bubbles i have in my theme. but if this thing changes the sms backgroound why isn't it changing my bitesms background?
So you all got SMS Backgrounds to work on the default apple SMS program? I've been trying for days to change my SMS background in a theme of mine, and couldn't accomplish it yet.. Please a little bit more info... Thanks!
you can't put it in a theme you can just set whatever an image through when you assign your wallpaper youc an tell it to go to your sms background only by pushing the left i
i have just installed setwallpaper and am happy with the results. but there is one thing that has been affected after installing it. i previously had no icon labels but now that winterboard feature doesnt work.. any fixes for this? i know its a small price to pay for an sms background but i do like the look of the springboard without name labels.
I found a fix for the icon lables uninstall setwallpaper (cydia) theme your phone to your liking install setwallpaper again pick your willpaper DO NOT RESPRING OR REBOOT) as you will have to do the hole thing again hope this helps
it kind of works.. after installing setwallpaper i pressed the home key instead of pressing restart springboard it works without icon labels but then when i return to cydia the screen with restart springboard remains. so it seems it works as long as u dont want to use cydia... is that how i was supposed to exit? becuase after installing setwallpaper you have to restart springboard... maybe im doing something wrong?
Yea you did I right but cydia does not come up with any messages for me
Once you have set wallpaper, the next time you reboot/respring icon lables are back so it is a pain but I can cope with it intell somone comes up with a better tweak
ahh ok. heres a screenshot of what it comes up with whenever i finish installing setwallpaper or any app for that matter and if i press the home key and return to cydia it returns to this screen.
is there another way to install the program without forcing a restart?
I found another alternative that does not require uninstall...but it disables the SMS background too and only if you want to keep ure icon labels hidden like me or maybe switch back and forth between mods idk it's up to ya...
1. Go to SBSettings and press on more..
2. Go to Mobile Subtrate Add Ons..
3. SetWallpaper will be under the name Wallpaper and turn it off..
respring and the icon labels will be hidden again..
i installed setwallpaper by going into cydia. searching for setwallpaper. hit install and confirm.. then it downloaded. installed and brought up the screenshot i took. is there another way to do it?
Yea there is you got to put setwallpaper.deb intot/var/root/media/cydia/autoinstall/place it here via iPhone browser or ssh or ifile And reboot 1 time so can be installed then set wallpaper but remember 1 reboot 1 respring and and you got to uninstall setwallpaper and do the same again
