3gs video apps to work on 3g

is there a way to make video apps design for the 3gs work with the 3g via, for example, cycorder?

I'm aware that cycorder is available to 3g. However if I load an app, such as Twitvid it tells me that video is required i.e 3gs. Is there no fix to make the apps think that the 3g is 3gs and allow videoing. Maybe through one of the JB video apps.
