open icy. goto categories. click on the upper right button to search. type in 'cydia installer' to search. then select cydia installer from the search result. then select the install button at top right corner.

I think I need to add the source bc cydia installer isn't there

Gerr....Doesn't work for me. Cydia installs but crashes on launch

I get the same problems, i get a crash on launch. I removed cydia as it was acting up. I was payed for an app on there and it wouldn't let me download it at all- after trying to reinstall cydia through icy i get further problems. I've been researching the net for ages tryinh to find a solution that doesn't involve me restoring and re-jailbreaking.

If anyone has any ideas on this then we maybe able to prevent this in future.

Old Thread i know but for others that made the same mistake heres what u should do ....
go to Icy App... then go to sources..... add new source... http://(without spaces) apt.saurik.com << after that refresh it let is search for new things.... after that go to Categories and click top right for search ... then search for Cydia installer and install that after its finished you can use the cydia app again..

PS: pls dont delete this post i made... for people that are searching no need to search anymore

And If you don't have anything at all backup your phone and put it in recovery mode and reinstall it and after jailbreak with ice and cydia... And put your backup back on

EDIT: apparently reinstalling CYDIA made my frozen cydia on the 'loading data' page work again. thanks,
