Customize question on 2g

This is my first Iphone and am fairly unfamialar with where everything is supposed to go. I downloaded and installed Customize 2.2.1 and I was trying to install battery Icons and I followed the diections to get to the folder.

Var>Root>Library>Customize>batteryImages>(create new folder here for the new theme) copy all 17 images included in the battery theme.

1: The Problem is I don't have the customize directory. I have tried to make one but to prevail.

2: The customize app I am using seems to be different than everybody elses. It doesnt have the same buttons. Which version should I be using?

Well, i don't know that method... but here is what I did.

go to.

System/Library/CoreService/SpringBoard.app

there are 17 BatteryBG_#.png files, replace them with yours.

IMPORTANT! back up the originals onto your computer because you will be replacing (deleting) them.

Respring and bobs your uncle...
