Silent Haptic Keyboard

After trying different haptic and vibrating keyboards I was not satisfied with the vibration or the keyboard click having to be on.

*So here is a deep short thud of a vibrate with keyboard clicks completely removed.(SilentVibe)

This works in place of the keyclick so in the settings section make sure keyclicks are on so you can feel the vibration, or turn keyclicks off to turn the vibration off

*If you like vibration but still want the keyclicks on then download KeyVibe instead.

***Also available in the downloads section under modded files
iOS 5 Compatible!

Extract files and:
SSH them into System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MediaToolbox.framework/N90

Both files are to be placed in the N90 folder located inside the MediaToolbox folder.

is there a way to use this but also keep the keyboard click too? when i replace the systemsoundbehavior back to the stock file it gives me sound back but takes the vibration off..?

Worked fantastically! Many many thanks for this one.

HapticPro lags my 3GS out like a mofo, but all I wanted was the haptic feedback on the keys. This is an absolute GODSEND!

@ahhhhwhoa - i made this specifically because i didn't want the keyboard click but i'll give you a link to one that has a keyboard click and a vibration.

This is awesome, but I can't seem to get it to work in my Messages? The vibrate kicks-in in Cydia, but not in my Messages.

hmmm im not even sure what to say, i would try installing the files back in again. or ask the other members with 3gs's who have this installed, how they did it

It's probably worth mentioning that you have to have keyboard clicks enabled for this to work (though you don't hear them). This threw me off at first.

done everything. restarted my phone 3 times respringed removed and replaced the files, have keybiard clicks on and still can't get it to work.
Any ideas?

ok well i've tested it only on 3.0 and 3.0.1 if your on a jailbroken 3.1 can't do anything til redsn0w is released for windows. I'm not completely sure if it works on 3.1 or not.

If anyone else on here that used a Mac to jailbreak their 3.1 wanna tell us how this works on it?

tried it on 3.0 and 3.1 no luck. I jailbroke my iphone 3g with 3.1 today and no luck getting it to work. BTW I couldn't get it to work on 3.0 either

UPDATE

ok so i jailbreak 3.1 today on my iphone 3g and i ssh'd these files into the folder and rebooted my phone and it worked.

So this does work for 3.1 without a doubt.

I have been following the steps word for word and can't get it to work any idea to why it's not working??

ssh'd rebooted can't get the keyboard to vibrate

ok the first time i ssh'd in and replaced the files i noticed it didnt work either so out of curiosity i decided to do it 3 more times. I basically kept overwriting the 2 files with the vibrating settings rebooted and it worked. there really is no other way i mean its just replacing two files nothing should go wrong.

3.1.2 update!

blackra1n jailbreak for pc works great super fast I recommend installing cydia and rock

SilentVibe still works for 3.1.2 as usual you need to reboot!!!!!
