iPhone OS 3.0 Volume Boost

1. add "http://fishbone.ge" to your Cydia Sources.

2. install Volume Boost 3.0 from added source.

3. reboot.

It supposedly increases volume up to 25%.

I haven't heard any distortion from any games or music.

Others haven't complained, yet, that I have seen.

One user tested it through Audacity and reported a noticeable change of about 7% universally.

anyone else notice the spam in cydia after adding this source and downloading volume boost. i added this last night and when i went into cydia today instead of the normal descriptions of the apps there was spam ! deleted this source and volume booster and spam was gone,

What do you mean? I haven't noticed a problem yet?

Volume is not noticeably better with 3G(s) no need for this package

I noticed I got spam after adding other sources, reopening Cydia gets rid of it. I was getting re-directed to ad pages instead of the descriptions.

I had span even before I added this or any other resource. It only happens sometimes though that I get redirected. I think it is something in cydia itself when it is first jailbroken since i jailbroke my iphone last night.

Yay

You notice a slight improvement (I recommend testing before and after for yourself) and there's no distortion. Nothing to lose by doing it, and if you don't notice the difference, you can always remove it.

i have it installed but dont notice a difference? does this apply to all sounds or just certain sounds?
