Help creating a custom button
Alright guys, prepare to wince...
I dropped my iPhone... and it just *happened* to fall on the top button that you use to put the iPhone to sleep. I'm waiting to go see a genius about getting it repaired, but for now i'm looking for a way to make a button on the home screen that will give me the same functionality as the hardware button that is permanently mashed in.
Everything is still usable on the phone, save the one button i broke :'( Now i have almost NO programming background, but i need someone to help me do this to save my battery life, because even with auto-lock on one minute it has impacted my battery life DRASTICALLY. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

In SMB Pref (Summerboard Preferences) there is a Kill Springboard option. This will do it.
