problem with ssh on mac osx.
im having a problem getting ssh working on my ibook.
ssh through terminal, [email protected] works perfect. but i am not good with command line.
winscp on windows works perfect as well.
however, i can get neither cyberduck or fugu to work. fugu says connecting and then goes straight back to the login screen. cyberduck connects, disconnects, and then says unexpected end of sftp string.
randomly once i was able to get fugu to connect.
does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? thanks.

Try deleteing the known hosts file ,and rebooting the mac. I have had to do this after every upgrade on my iPhone.
Go into your user folder and hit CMD + Shift + G and type ".ssh". Delete the known hosts file. Then reboot.

Try using PhoneView or DiskAid. That allows access to system files through USB without having to worry about SSH.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!

Cyberduck----couldnt be easier. Through Wi-Fi as well.
Just make sure to back up any file you may modify before you touch it. Bricked my I twice doing this Monday. hahaha. All is well now.

Sometimes after I upgrade or restore my Iphone I need to delete the hosts file on my Mac, reboot, and let the hosts file recreate itself when I connect in Cyberduck.
