This question has been posted before (2007) but there was never a solution:

I want to have the vibration turned on (always) for receiving calls, emails and SMS, but I want to have the vibration turned off (always) for the alarm clock. In other words, I only want to hear the alarm "sound". The vibration of the alarm clock is a little annoying and so is manually toggling the phone vibration on/off every night/morning.

Any ideas? ...Settings? SSH? Is there another alarm clock I could download?
