Custom Firmware Listing Mod [How-To]

In this 1 minute mod I will show you how to do this.

1. SSH into your iDevice.

2. Goto this location:

/System/Library/CoreServices

3. Copy SystemVersion.plist to your desktop.

4. Rename the one located in the SSH directory to SystemVersion.plst

5. Download this program in order to open this plist file.

6. Open the file you transferred from your iDevice with the program provided above.

7. Change the text listed in between the string tags underneath this line: [Default will be

<string>3.0</string>

or which ever firmware you are on]

Code:

<key>ProductVersion</key>

8. Save this file and SSH it back to your iDevice.

9. Goto Settings -> General -> About to see the changes.
