How to: Change SliderText on 3.0
Ok guys, I have successfully changed my Slider Text on 3.0. Here is how:
1. Download the file I am providing
2. Unzip the .rar file
3. Navigate to Slidertext.theme/Bundles/Com.apple.Springboard/en.lproj/SpringBoard.springs
4. Open strings file using Notepad ++
5. Edit text located inside the Quotations to your liking. I uploaded my personal one to give you an idea. It should have no more characters than mine or it will be too long.
6. Once completed, SSH into the phone and copy the theme back into the themes folder @ root/library/themes and then enable the theme in Winterboard.
That is all you need to do.
***EDIT: My attachments are not uploading to this thread for some reason, I keep getting the message they have already been uploaded to this thread.***
Please click on the following link to see a screenie and get the file. Thank you, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

these will be the things incase you want to change more
"AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = "";
"POWER_DOWN_LOCK_LABEL" = "" ;
"SLIDE_TO_ANSWER" = "" ;
"SLIDE_TO_LISTEN" = "" ;
"SLIDE_TO_CALL_BACK" = "" ;
"SLIDE_TO_CANCEL" = "" ;
"SMS_LOCK_LABEL" = "" ;
the SMS one is the one you want
and if you want you can change the color of the text otherwise known as the highlight like when it shines you can change thatLast edited by santaf; 08-01-2009 at 12:57 AM.
