Springborad Not responding

I upgraded to 3.0, and jailbroke it using redsn0w and installed some apps.
sometimes when I reboot or respring:
-the springboard stops responding whether it is on the lock screen or the apps screen, I can't slide to unlock or open any app (knowing that the springboard is not freezing).
-the power and home buttons work fine.
so I have to turn it off by pressing home and power buttons, and then turn in on, so it will work.

note: sometimes I reboot and respring about ten times and the iphone works fine, and sometimes from the first reboot or respring it stop responding.

Any Ideas for how to solve this issue and what's the cause of it.
