Stuck on "RECOVERY MODE" (((Please Help)))

I have an iPhone 1st gen. running on a 2.2.1 Firmware.

My phone decided to turn off on its own today and whent straight into Recovery Mode.

Is there anyone that can tell me how to get it off the recovery mode and able to boot up normally again.

I really don't want to restore from iTunes, i will lose all my contacts. I've tried all sorts of methods and cant seem to find one that works.

If anyone out there can help me, please i beg.

Download and run irecovery. Type help for all the options. It works great and can kick your phone right out of recovery mode.

can you give me a link for irecovery. I Googled it but i get all types of results. Dont wanna mess around and download the wrong stuff.
