Dial Format Number in 3.0
|
Hi guys
I am writing from Argentina. I have an iPhone 3G de Movistar.
I have updated it to 3.0 and Jailbreaked it. All right.
In my country, the telephone format number is 99-9999-9999 where, obviously, the 2 first digits are the city code.
Buenos Aires is 11-9999-9999
I have all my contacts telephones filed as: 11-9999-9999 and every works fine.
If I dial manually only the last 8 digits, and those 8 digits match with a Contact, the iPhone should show the name/photo of that Contact, but it doesn´t do it.
Only mi iPhone shows that if I dial the 10-digits number, which is boring...
When I had the 1.1.4 version, I remember that I had to edit, modify and replace a file inside the iPhone, in order to take into account only the last 8 digits, and that worked fine.
I dont´t know how to do it now, with the 3.0 version
Somebody can help me?
Thanks in advance,
Fernando
