We need some help. We have a couple people that have 3G S' and are going to give me a full OS dump.

If you have a 3G S, please, restore, activate, jailbreak, then use jibbler, then activate accessibility. Then dump your firmware, all I need is the com.apple.voiced.enabled plist. I already have all other framworks an directories in place.

any1 have any leads yet...does any1 know of the particular string/value that Apple goes by in dealing with ARM9/6 CPUs in Hex? Knowing the value can help alot and make all the difference..

i tried to get someone to get me that .plist file. they said its just empty and to make a file called that.

I have Replaced all This Files with the 3GS Files, and set the Permessions on 0775 ... but Voice Control is still empty

LOL i have turn off my iPhone, and than again on ... iPhone Freezed at the Apple Logog :-( RESTORE :-(

Note: Even if we replace all our files with the 3GS ones, it will still not work as
A)the files that we take are 3GS binaries meaning they will either cause an app to crash or if its a system file then cause the appe logo to appear (logo of death!)
B)the files itself are written for a diff cpu ARM9 then ours ARM6

So....that concludes that the only way to make this work is to change the voice-control specific files from ARM9-ARM6 and do this one file at a time (ex/ change file, reboot iphone, look for any changes, and continue with next file)

Hex-Editor MX - Download - CHIP Online

geh in ins untermenü suchen wähle suchen & ersetzen und schreibe in suchen arm9 und in ersetzen arm6

for files I use: 010 Editor - The Professional Text/Hex Editor with Binary Templates
and for plist files, I use: Download iPod software for Windows (plist Editor for Windows)
