Why won't my internet work anymore??? Does anyone know of a hack to get it working?? MMS works fine, but no internet anymore.

I got it working. it's been confirmed on 2 phones. you need to set the MMSC to http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc not http://216.155.174..... it won't work.

i still have tzones, So when i tried wap.voicestream.com it worked fine

I'm in Central NY and couldnt use tzones here. wap.voicestream.com wouldnt work for internet before. Now it seems it does.

Hey, can u test something? send yourself a pic MMS and check the resolution of the pic you get? I wonder if the resolution is better using that URL.

Reset your Cellular Data Network settings and reboot your device

Did you reboot your phone? Try reset settings under cellular data network

MMS Max Message Size: [I left it blank]
MMS UA Prof URL: [I left it blank for now]

5) Reboot
6) Settings -> Messages and check that MMS Messaging is on.

You should now be able to send picture messages. No need for the carrier update.

Here is another T-Mobile USA MMS settings:

[MMS] APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: [Leave blank]
Password: [Leave blank]
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080

Same here. I installed the ActivateMMS2G hack but to no avail. I still have no option i cellular network to configure nor a mms option in messages. I've uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed, done everything but restore the darn thing. BTW, Im on ATT, 3.0FW and obviously a 2g.

What else did you guys to? did you jailbreak with redsnow or pwnage? what is this talk of ipcc and does that have something to do with it? Do I need to install updated apn setting from benn.* ?

is there any way you can change the device profile so that Tmobile thinks its a Motorola or nokia like swirlymms does?
Cause the picture quality of incoming mms is HORRIBLE?

Uh ya, I did jailbreak. The ipcc is a carrier settings file. It's supposed to put the settings in for you. I installed the one from help.benm.at for tmobile however some here have gotten it to work without installing it. Even when you install it, you still need access to put the settings in. If you have the settings in and they stick and it's still failing, try the alternate address for the proxy or MMSC...if that fails, AND you have MMS on your plan, then I'm stumped.

My internet will not work with wap.voicestream.com, the only way it will work is if I put internet2.voicestream.com, but when I change the apn on my cellular network it clears out the mms apn. So if anyone knows how to have 2 different apn's please tell me. Thanks
