Ok, Geniusan has finally released the patch. I've attached it to this message.

- Instructions are inside in English.
- If you can't install it yourself manually, wait until it appears in alpden or xsellize repositories.

There are mixed results in the Russian forum. As far as I know, there were some people, who managed to save their settings using one of the methods described above in this thread, so we need to wait for them to try.

Hmm...mine goes to send and instead of failing it crashes springboard which restarts itself in safe mode...interesting that when I go back into messages they don't have the red failed exclamation pt.

Didn't work... (Although I disabled EDGE through SBSettings, but I doubt that matters)

I can confirm that I can send mms and that they are delivered. It is a bit slow but it is working.
I did left the AppSupport patched, I don't know if with the normal one it works but judging by the readme file you don't have to patch it too.

As for the settings not sticking, try to reset the settings and then reboot after changing them.
