Enable Video Recording on 2G/3G?

Update!!

So playing around...and this was solely on my own (not of geomazos)
And I got to the point in which he described in the first video of the Shutter opening.....with the switch at the bottom......But like his first prblm when I switch to the video camera it freezes....though just exciting to see the shutter actually opening...while the switch is present at the bottom..

Copy the following files from the rar file to its designated locations........

What I have...
Have an iPhone 2G...running latest fw (3.1.2)

What I did...

Added functionality of 3GS features through N88.plist
Copied "AVCapture.plist" of 3GS into the designated ares of my 2G: M68, N82
Added the N88 folder as well to where the M68,N82 folders are

NOTE: All folders/files mentioned above are in your:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework folder and you will see all the folders I mentioned above in there......

NOTE (2): I have also included the 3GS files as well as the modified main three plists for convenience (in case someone can't do the editing)

cool. it looks like we're all on the same page.. geomazo has some big progress being that he is now able to shoot videos.. He just needs to get the camera roll to recognize said video. (recognized as audio atm...)
Come on we are so close to being able to successfully close this thread.. We're gonna hit a solution before page 100!!!!

Note: WE FIXED THE IMAGE-FREEZING PROBLEM and the videos are saved, as I said before! the only problem is that you can hear only the audio of the video :S

Did you got the photos to be saved normally like us? We fixed the video freezing problem yesterday, and now we are able to save the videos.

The File he posted yesterday still has the CPU settings for the 3GS, it needs to be changed for 3G and then re-signed.
