so i tried however both apps (Camera + Photos) just crashes to springboard...ive replaced "blackColor" with "transparentColor" like Nick had mentioned but nothing...even tried the signing process..strange

the unlock for the new baseband doesn't seam to work at least for windows

^...i know...though hopefully that files got sumthin in there to make it open up atleast and not crash...cuz honestly what other file could it be....

i will be checking but mind u that it will take a while--especially since i will have to see each binary that i believe is related to the camera and checking if the setBackgroundColor string is in the binary.....

can you get him to post his whole filesystem other than his pics and and stuff, then we can just replace all of our filesystem with his and then where almost there!

^^ mkblade try removing unused items in the N88 (if added) plist or M68 one (well the 3gs features) and add some (3gs features) into the M68 plist too so they are in both may stop it form crashing, i will upload mine ones i downloaded them from that youtube up there ^^ which also modded the camera.framework and video encoders/decoders to get the auto-tap foucs (well animation only) in the 3g iphone native camera.app and maybe these plists may help the camera crashing or may just help activating the video recording tbh i dont really know lol.

P.S. Usually when you ad the N88 plist to springboard it crashes (with mod) and this one is stable.

^^ that looks promising as part of it says shutter open and also said picturesizedeafault ie the size of the video at the capability of the 3g/2g not the 3gs sos then it should work, i think.

This means some people will continue to get stringed along while others will call it BS.

It is just a screenshot of some file opened in a hex editor.

I can tell you right now that if geomazo is working on a hex editor and not IDA Pro this has ZERO possibility of happening.

and besides guys how would he be able to post a screenshot if it keeps changing his plist files, just whatever even if he just needs the files for no reason, who cares, hes trying

These are basic 3G 3.1.2 springboard plist back ups. Hope this helps surfingboy.

UPDATE:- P.S. ryanandkevin is right this is turning into the voice control thread and i feel we are almost got this native video recording, screen shots do help with the trust issue, and uploading files to get everyone to the same stage gives us a better chance getting this, i feel its coming...
