dissaperaing apps!!

k i upgraded to 3.0 but i used categories on my old iphone and now it says i have all the apps installed on my phone but i cant see them i cant find them on spotlight and i uninstalled and reinstalled all of them but its now working. anyone know how to get them back?

I had a similar problem when I upgraded to 2.2.1. Try this after jailbreaking.

1) Get SBSettings
2) Go to "more"
3) Go to "Hide applications"
4) Unhide applications.

It may or may not be the problem though.

settings/general do a reset
you can also try
settings/general/restrictions enable then disable

Did you make sure to remove all your apps from their folders before you updated? I did this when i upgraded from 2.2 -> 2.21! However if you did a full restore that would solve that problem. In which case, I have no idea!

Settings/General/Restrictions
enable them, go to homescreen, disable them, and all hidden apps should appear

ya dude i went to restrictions and like disabled everything and disable appstore apps then turned my phone on and off and then reenabled everything and they all came back
