I am after a couple of mods and wondered if anyone knows if they exist -

1. Something to make the iphone think it has been plugged into an iPhone compatible device and not come up with the airplane prompt and will therefore charge it.

2. Something to make the sound of a call come out through the accessory socket at the bottom as well as the headphone socket.

there isnt any mods out there from what i know

i think the reason why though is because:

A) what reason would you need them to work on a device using the bottom connection( i'm guessing a stereo?)

B) the phone connections, eg phone calls, texts, receiving emails; tend to interfere with said devices. (have you never held your phone near a speaker when receiving a text to have it do an anoying buzz buzz buzz buzz noice?)

The 2G could be charged by Firewire - the 3G can't. No amount of software hacking will change that.
