^Anything with custom stuff will slow it down, but I'm not sure if it's to the same extent.

Installed customize today and did the fix. I haven't noticed any slow down.
Also have winterboard of coarse. If there were a slow down with winterboard I am willing to accept because this is an awesome app.

It works better after doing your fix, but it is crashing after downloading themes though. Any ideas?

Yippee! Works!
For some reason, when I tried chmod, I was getting an error: permission denied or whatever. So I fired up MobileFinder and set all the permissions to Read/Write full everything.

this thread should be called "how to put a rocket on a garbage can"
you can get it up in the air for a short period of time, but eventually the rocket burns out and **** falls all over the ground... at some point you all will realize that every time you pick it all up you decide to throw it in the air again

I installed customize from cydia, but, when I go in to change the strings, or edit the strings, (whatever) hehe
, it doesn't save them
And also, when I go into like, the sounds, or any other option, dock image, application images, etc.. it doesn't have anything in there?? Like any options for me to use? Does anyone know why? When I first had customize before I went to 2.2.1, it worked fine, what happened? Anyways, just wondering if anyone knew what the deal was.

I do have winterboard, but, I don't see anywhere there where you can change your strings??
Hey Flix, I remember doing that a long time ago, when I first installed customize way back when. What order do I do that in
I don't remember
I go into mobile finder, and what r the steps after that again?? I really like winterboard, but, it doesn't have like where to change the strings, and system sounds and all?? Unless I am not using it correctly(winterboard)

@ucim2cute - Starting from the root folder (press "Up" until you get there), navigate to /var/stash/Applications/Customize.app and look for the files: Customize and Customize_
Double-click each to bring up the attributes tab where you can change the permissions.
