really weird problem when changing the clock font on lockscreen!! help!

i downloaded a font i want to use for the lockscreen clock, but when i replace the file i have a really weird problem afterwards... it removes the dots for whenever i type in a password anywhere.. it just leaves the password field completely black after i type something in.

here is the font im using, and i have the ttf file as well but it wont let me attach it. i cant open it to see if theres anything i can modify to fix this problem.... can someone else maybe fix this file for me so i can still use the font but not have this problem??? i can send it to anyone willing to look at it
