Thank you very much for posting this. It worked perfectly on USB, Bluetooth not yet, hope I can repay the favor in some way as I get more up to speed on this beta.

You need to upgrade to 3.0 to have this working?

Yes. You must be in 3.0

Darn
No, no go here, but I'm on a Fido, so that may be the problem. I was really hoping this was going to work since it's the same network. Anyone know where I can get the ipcc for Fido? My computer doesn't seem to have them in the ~/Library/iTunes/ folder where the instructions say it's supposed to be. Only a folder called "iTunes Plugins". I want this to work, because tethering was the only reason I jailbroke my phone. And 3.0 is nice, so... Help please.

it depends how you've updated to 3.0,
did you do a full restore? a full restore means Restore and DON'T load from backup.

I'm not sure the difference . What should I have done? I option clicked the Update button for both the 3.0 upgrade and the ipcc you gave me.

you should've option+clicked Restore instead of update
and when the phone comes back up and iTunes asks you to setup from backup, or setup as new phone. Pick new phone.

Shoot, sorry, I'm a little drugged up painkillers for a busted hip, and probably should have read that better. I'll see if I can unscrew myself, and try that.

Well.
I found the settings for AT&T but when I change the file to a .ipcc and try to update with it I get an error.

make sure you have the correct path inside the zip file.
the first directory when you open your zip file should be payload.

Did that, but I'm still crashing when I plug it in. Bluetooth won't connect either. I'm not sure what to try next. Thanks for the effort though!

When I open it I'm inside the bundle.
I zipped the payload after i updated the bundle.
