I have dTunes and Airshare. I like the way i can download torrents but i wanted to be able to access the files from Airshare. For those of you who dont know with airshare you can access files on your phone through a browser. Its like a wireless jump drive. Well i used winscp and tried to make a soft link in my Airshare folder where my files are hoping it would let me navigate in airshare (like a folder). Well it wouldnt work. the file shows up in winscp as a folder but in the iphone Airshare app its just a file. what am i doing wrong? I even tried changing file permissions but it diddnt work. im a novice and im hoping this is a simple mistake im making.

I would use Discovery 1.0 available on Cydia it has access to more locations and you can use it to share with other iphones running discovery, and it is much better than airshare, which I have since removed
