Data Back Up of an appstore app

I'm using quite sometime an app called ixpenseit bought by appstore. I was wondering if there is any way to save somewhere the set up-data files of this app in order to avoid setting it up from scratch in a feature jailbreak. Obviously the SSH process is the appropriate but I didn't know the next steps (Copy the app folder?).

Well if you sync the app to your computer, all the info should also by synced so when you jailbreak and sync your phone, that info should be put back on your phone, no problem...
