I am having the problem of connecting winscp to my iphone; i have the following installed

1. community sources
2. bsd subsystem
3. openSSH
4. bsdsubsytem 2.0 termfix
5. services (for turning on open ssh)

everytime i try to connect to winscp i get the error message of

network error: connection timed out


any suggestions?

can someone give me an alternative way of accessing the iphones files?

first off make sure you have the right ip address for your iphone.
root/alpine is your username password
and at the bottom should be set as SCP

First time logging in takes like 30-45 seconds. It said something like no connection has been made abort? i just let it sit and eventually it came up saying it was an unknown source do you want to trust it, click yes and your in.

make sure you have "static ip" selected
to do so:
Settings>WiFi>(select the WiFi network you're connected to)>Tap "Static"
