This is usually the case by our customers blaming the agents or Genius Bar reps. If you have an issue, you need to contact iphone customer care and have them log the case, get you over to a Product Specialist or the Agreement Admin Dept.
The issue with your device is not our team that you let look at it, it's the device that was dropped into the tub. The warranty, however is now null in-void and can not be replaced at an Apple Retail Store.
As said before, if you need a repair please contact our iPhone dept. and they will offer an OOWA (Out Of Warranty) Accident Dental repair.
