Random question, but do you think Apple or a 3rd party developer will release some sort of patch to allow 802.1x support on the iPhone? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that its simply a software rather than a hardware issue.
Yeah, I t think it is just a simple software, but I really hope that this feature comes to the iPone through an update or from a third party developer. The University I attend has it, and so do most offices and other universities, so I don't know why apple didn't just create the software with that already present.
