Being a complete iphone Newbie this seems like the place to get the best help with everything iphone! This is my starter for ten! SMSD where can i download the software and more impotant where can i get instructions on how to install and is there any other software i need to install prior to installing SMSD. As this was a xmas presant it has been up dated on the Apple web-site with the latest software (2.2) my service provider is o2.

i remember smsd is being used on very old iphone firmwares.I dont know is there any updated version for 2.2.But here is the link,try your chance

SMSD is old now.

iRealSMS is what you should use!
MySMS is a cheaper 5$ alternative.
BiteSMS is a free alternative for forwarding messages.
