Fastlane Street Racing made easier/file mod

This is by far my favorite game for the iphone.
For those that don't know, Fastlane is probably the best street racing game out there for our platform.



The problem that I had with it is that its way too hard.

For those interested, here's how to make it a little easier:

1) SSH and goto /var/mobile/applications/xxxxxxxxxx/streetracer.app/Edits folder



2) Drag the "Edits" folder to your desktop, open it up, then open up one of the " .ini " files with TextEdit (mac) or something similar.

3) Here you can add more time by changing the "CheckpointTimes".
You can also increase "Traffic", although maximum number is 3.
Make overall game easier by changing the "OpponentDif" and "OverallDif" to a lower number.



Each ".ini" file in the Edits folder is a specific track file and the name of the track is in the file.

4) After you finish modding the track files then overwrite the original Edits folder with your new one, make sure to back up the original first.
