Default Add SMS tones in Settings?

I've been playing with this for a while:

    /Applications/Preferences/Sounds.plist
    /Applications/Preferences/English.lproj/Sounds.strings

Mucking about a little, you can easily add in additional menu items to the "New Text Message" ringtone!

Basically you add an additional validTitles (e.g. 6 & 7), add in Alternate ("Title - 1"), and change the name in the Sounds.strings

However, linking the options to valid sounds (smssounds_6.caf) is impossible for me! Notice the order of the values (0,1,2,3,4,5,6) and the values for validValues (0,1,2,3,4,6,7)

    WTF happened to 5

So if I add in optionvalues for alternate 6 equal to 8 - everything becomes a mess. All the tones are switched.

Any ideas how to do this the correct way, or just general tips??????

Exactly the problem I had. If its 6 or less tones, they show up and work. But once you go above 6 different tones, they show up, but only the default 6 tones play. I'm thinking there's a restriction hidden somewhere, but I cant find it...
