extract 2.2 artwork files please.

Can someone please extract these for me, I have tried everything i could to extract the new 2.2 artwork files. iphoneshop, another one. anyway i'm frustrated. please someone help. thank you.

its pointless to extract the files when in two months or less they are going to get updated and changed.

This is why no one does it anymore.

Your SOL... your best bet is just to use Winterboard to change whatever it is your tryint to change

Ok then tell me please what are the names and sizes of the files used to change the Background and bars separating my contacts in my phonebook and between the songs in the ipod, and all the buttons in the settings section.

It is not pointless to update this if you keep the files from your old artwork files that are already modded. You simply rename the modded files to the new names in the new artwork file and your done. very easy.

Now can someone please extract these files for me?

find someones theme that already modded it and just change theirs to what u want.

i dont think its pointless b/c some people dont use winterboard b/c of the how slow it makes the phone run.....i use winterboard but for my keyboard and files that i use permently like signal bars , battery images, sliders, etc i load them all using ssh...i have my keyboards loaded the old way packing them up in the .artwork file it helps the sms app load faster....i use winterboard for the wallpaper background and widgets and i see a big improvement with how responsive the phone is having less "themes" installed in winterboard..but thats just my opinion...i could be wrong but it works for me..

the keyboard .artwork and mobilephonepackedimages files didnt change in the 2.2 firmware they are the same as 2.1....the only thing they added was a new file Keyboard-Emoji.artwork for the smiley expressions...but the other.artwork file has changed from 2.1 so there are some new added images to the file..but i havent come across an update to open the files yet but im sure massimo will update his iphoneshop to a new version he always does with every firmware update b/c it is useful to open those files..but until the he does the files you are looking for to use them with winterboard there names are:

for the bars in the contact letters and ipod letters:
UISectionListHeaderBackground.png
UISectionListHeaderBackgroundOpaque.png

here check out this link and dl iphoneshop 1.2 from massimo23...this will extract the artwork files from 2.1 and save them in a folder saved as the names for winterboard....so you can extract your 2.1 files from your .artwork files and they will be ready for use with winterboard..you would jus have to put the in the themes folder using ssh and turn it on inside the winterboad app...pm me if you need any help with it but once you get it setup with the folders its real easy

thanks for the help, I have iphoneshop 2.0 already, but i upgraded my phone from 2.0 to 2.2 and don't have the 2.1 files. And carbonne the file you uploaded is just a text file. I guess if the 2.1 software works and has not changed, i will try to find that somewhere on here. Thanks for the help.

the iphoneshop 1.2 from massimo23 is different than the iphoneshop2.0 program.....check out that link and youll see what im talking about..you can open your 2.0 .artwork files with this program also....so you can extract your 2.0 files for use with winterboard and they will be ready to use...you just have to create a "Theme" with a "UIImages" folder and put whatever files you have changed inside the folder you dont have to put every file in the UIImages folder just the ones you want to change and winterboard will load them...the 2.1 other.artwork is different than 2.2 ...so youll have to use winterboard for now....but im trying to make it easy for you to extract your 2.0 files that you already have modded

here dl this zip folder its all set up with the folders and .artwork files from 2.1 and youll see what im talking about ....double click on export.bat and then press enter when the window pops up and when its all done look in the keyboard folders and the other folder and it will have extracted the files from the other.artwork and keyboard.artwork files ready for use with winterboard ...so if you have your other.artwork from your old 2.0 firmware you can replace it with the one thats in there and extract your modded ones out and then use them with winterboard and you wont have to worry about changing all the names off your files....the program does it for you

Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Not only that- but 2.2 is a lot faster and smoother running OS also.

I agree too, I do what you do and just replace the files like Battery, Battery Charger, Signal bars, App store and Cydia themes, as well as Transparent dock and so forth.(as much as possible)

However... I use Winterboard for Icons, skinning the keyboard,sms backround and the Ipod HUD.

SMS app opens in about 2 seconds tops, where as before 2.2 and the winterboard update it used to be about 6-7 seconds.

The keyboard also use to slide into place slowly or delayed alittle bit.

I have it skined with Awqoah so its a complete skin and now
it has no lag at all.

The other thing I do is place all my mods into One Winterboard theme and delete the rest of the themes.
I have read that increases Winterboards repsonse time up too.


I suggest trying Winterboard out cause there is NO delay in response time these days with the improvments.

ya i do agree the new 2.2 and winterboard updates do run faster but i still load what i did before with ssh and i also have everything loaded in one theme....it does run better that way...
