I HAVE FOUND THE CURE

WORKS FOR SMSD AND WETOOL_US. Works a treat and allows you to forward SMS to multiple contacts.

After a weeks searching.........First set permissions to 755

Then you need to delete the following folders, should they exist (pay CLOSE attention to their location--they are in /var/root):

/var/root/Library/AddressBook/
/var/root/Library/CallHistory/
/var/root/Library/SMS/


Then execute the following commands:
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/AddressBook /var/root/Library/
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/CallHistory /var/root/Library/
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/SMS /var/root/Library/

Then SMSD/WeTool-US , should work.Mine is perfect on 1.1.4 using Ziphone 2.5

i cant seem to get CameraPro to work on fw 1.1.4. everytime i take a pic it just swirls continously.

I tried the symbolic links in 1.1.4, but if I delete a sms and then go to sms application it exists.

I gave this ago and it hasnt made any difference.. But I wasn't sure what you meant at the top

He means delete the SMS folder from var/ROOT/library, not the sms.db from var/mobile/library

If there is no SMS folder go ahead and move on to step 2 (execute commands)

Works like a charm once your done, just like the good ole' 1.1.1 days

Unfortunately no you cant, thats still being looked into. Ill post if i make any headway. Let us know if you find a solution elsewhere

So did you get it to "work" atleast? (ie-sms app doesnt crash)

Yeah the smsd app worked from the first time I did the thing with the sym links.
The only issue I had is to delete a sms.

Ooooh sorry about that, then yea i got nothin. Hopefully we'll come up with a fix soon enough

You're running those commands in term vt100 right? I executed them and still not able to get these programs to run....
