Back in the old 2.1 days, I used someone's custom file to edit Settings>General to insert "Screen Dims..." It worked great and allowed me to not have to download "Extended Preferences".

Now, that I upgraded to 2.2, the file has been deleted from Settings>General, as expected, but the screen still dims like it's there! I have resprung/rebooted my phone several times and it is still like that.

Is this just dumb luck, or a hidden feature of 2.2?
